There are two ways for adults to finish high school. Our counselors can help you determine the best option.
- Complete the credits you need to earn the Dover or Rochester Adult High School Diploma. Open to NH high school students.
- Pass the state-approved HiSET® or GED ® multi-part exam and receive a high school equivalency certificate from the State of NH.
Classes and testing are offered at the Adult Learning Center in Dover and Rochester.

The process: Once you complete the form above, we will reach out to schedule an appointment with a counselor. You will take free diagnostic testing to see if your skills need improving and help you enroll in Adult Basic Education classes, if needed. Classes are free and open to new students anytime during the school year. You can also study online, or work with. When you are ready, you can take practice tests to qualify for official exams.
