9:30 am - 11:30 am
This class is for the writer who has always wanted to try his/her hand at poetry, but never knew where to start. We will break down the pretentious stigma that surrounds the form and see how poetry can be accessible to all. For the beginner to experienced writer, this class will focus on journaling, reading contemporary poetry and workshopping our own poems with our peers. Bring a notebook/journal, writing utensil and one poem that you have written before (if you have one) to the first class.
