In this Plein-air workshop, designed for beginners, we’ll simplify the outdoor painting process. The first 3 classes will be held indoors and cover tools and materials and seeing like an artist, and will include a step-by-step guide to replicating nature on canvas. We’ll learn exercises in design, drawing, value, color, and atmosphere and acquire the skills to go outside and make expressive outdoor paintings

This 6-week class meets on Tuesdays for 3 hours.  Students will receive a materials list to purchase prior to the start of class; materials are not included in tuition.
