Complete the credits you need to earn the Dover Adult High School Diploma
- Request a transcript from your last high school.
- Make an appointment with a counselor for free credit assessment.
- Make a plan for completing your remaining credits. Classes, online courses and competency based options are available.
- You may be eligible for experience and work credits if you have been out of school for a while.
- Register for credit classes you need. Some scholarship funds are available.

ADULT TUTORIAL PROGRAM
The Strafford County Adult Tutorial Program provides free one-to-one tutoring in basic skills for anyone 18 or over in Strafford County. If classes are not for you and you want help with reading, math, writing, high school equivalency prep, OR English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESL), a tutor may be right for you. A tutor will meet with you once a week at a time and place convenient for you both. Call to request OR become a tutor.
SATELLITE SERVICES
Free classes and educational services may be provided at locations throughout Strafford County. If your agency is interested in offering adult education, please call. If you are living in transitional housing or a shelter or regularly attend appointments at a community location, adult education may be available. Call to ask a counselor.
