What a difference a year Makes!

Marcia is a student from Brazil. She has been here, along with her husband who is studying at UNH, for the past year. Marcia is in Joyce’s ESL Level 2 class, has taken Beginning Computer Literacy and Pronunciation classes, and is currently enrolled in our Job Search and Interviewing Skills class. She is a regular participant in the Friday ESL Discussion Group. Marcia also works with a tutor; when her tutor broke her leg just before Christmas, Marcia offered to help her out. In addition to all of this, Marcia assists her husband with his research. Marcia is a shining Center Star!

Leticia and her young daughter are often seen around Dover Adult Learning Center. Leticia arrived a year ago from Brazil, is in Joyce’s ESL Level 2 class, completed Pronunciation class with Lien, and is currently enrolled in our Job Search and Interviewing Skills class. She is a regular participant in the Friday ESL Discussion Group and works with a tutor. She also has a son at home as well as her husband. Leticia has begun to volunteer to help out around the Center which is much appreciated!
