Critical Thinking and the Constitution


This humanities class will use the U.S. Constitution as its anchor text and launching-off point to investigate and discuss various developments in the culture, religion, social structure, and politics of the American Experiment.  Students are expected to read extensively, often from primary texts (up to 20-30 pages prior to each class) and to write through a variety of genres, including researched analysis and personal narrative.  1 adult diploma high school U.S. History credit, social studies elective credit or English credit
